Though we have only been open less than a year, we know  the importance of giving back to the community in which we do business. It's not only the right thing to do-it can also be a lot of fun!

In October:

We had a great time teaming up with our sister shop, The Carefree Patisserie in Valley Junction, to support the Cupcakes for a Cause project. Fifty cents of every cupcake sold the week of October 16 went directly to the charity!

The Des Moines Playhouse does a great job of providing Des Moines residents with a wonderful place to perform or be entertained. They give so much to our city we were thrilled at the opportunity to return the favor by participating in this year's Hollywood Halloween fund raising dinnner and auction. We had a fantastic time creating a centerpiece for one od the banquet tables as well as donating a package for the auction!
